2. Elderly Couple Brutally Murdered

An elderly couple found brutally murdered at their jewellery shop at Simpang Renggam. They were found dead inside a pool of blood with multiple stab wounds in their backs and their ribs. They are both 69 years old which they are married couple. Besides that, the initial investigations revealed that only a single tray of jewellery that worth thousands of ringgit was missing. The couple’s accountant who was supposed to check on the shop’s account at about 10am went to the shop but his calls were not answered. They were suspecting something amiss, he went and called the couple’s neighbour who checked on them at about 3pm and exposed their bodies. This motive for the murder could be revenge, said by Kluang OCPD Asst Comm Fawzi Arshad.
