3. Divorcee Molested During 'Cleansing Ritual'

A 21 years old divorcee was molested by a bomoh known as Pak Long when he’s seeking the traditional treatment at her grandmother’s house in Felda Sungai Utara, Kuantan. The victim had just divorced by her husband and she was staying with her grandmother. In an addition, the victim was jobless. It was understood that the grandmother believed that her granddaughter who has a child and she had been under a spell and wanted her to forget her formal husband. CID liaison officer Asst Supt Noor Asyikin Shamsuri mentioned that the incident was occurred at about 7.30pm on Wednesday when she was seeking treatment to rid herself of bad luck. The bomoh was invited by the grandmother to her house to help to treat and cure her granddaughter. And the victim was asked to wear a sarong and undergo a bathing ritual which was supposed to cleanse off her bad luck but the bomoh started to caress and molest her and she got angry and ticked off the bomoh who ignore her and continued to touch her body but the bomoh claimed it was to ensure that the treatment work. This case is published is to let us beware of something like this case happened again and to let us know not to believe them, not everyone is good person.
