4. Women Escape Burning Ambulance

Two pregnant women escaped from a burning ambulance when the vehicle burst into flames after crashing into a Perodua Kancil in Tawau. This accident occurred when the Kancil did not make clealy about the way and collided into the ambulance at the junction. The ambulance was taking two pregnant women to Tawau Hospital at 1.20pm when the accident occurred. The ambulance drive, a nurse and a family member of one of the pregnant women escaped from the burning ambulance and unhurt. In another incident, a fire destroyed three housing units in a shophouse at Bandar Sabindo at yesterday noon.
